My other Family

We know participating in martial arts can foster a kind of community but for me it’s more than that for me it’s family, something that’s been there as long as I can remember. I had hid for the most part how sick I really am and even though I am away from class for extended periods of time (years) I am always met with open arms. This is not the only reason I still fight to get better but it’s a very important one. I long to be back in class….I start a new therapy soon but if it does not work I know I am always welcome and there is something to be said for that.

So I have to give credit where credit is due and thank a role model and friend Jordan, his mother Marie and my brothers and sisters Dayne and Cindy for having always been there.

It’s important to keep fighting
